Manchester United have signed Juan Mata from their rivals Chelsea for 37.1 million pounds. Mata in his two seasons with Chelsea was Chelsea's player of the year both seasons. In his first season with Chelsea, in 54 appearances, he scored 12 goals, and helped Chelsea lift their first Champions League title in history. In his second season at Stamford Bridge, in 64 appearances, Mata scored 20 goals, and won the Europa League with Chelsea. This season up until his signing for Manchester United, has made 17 appearances, and has scored 1 goal for Chelsea. Although he enjoyed his life in London, he has decided that it's time for a change.
